There's one interesting scene when Andrew's father, Joe Paxton playing golf. He was hitting the ball onto the hole that was on a small "island" surrounded by the sea (like the picture below). He said, he was using water soluble golf balls.
Water soluble golf balls??? I thought it was a fiction...but, when I did googling, I found that is a fact.

I opened the first result from google, Eco Golf Balls web. I found this statement:
The Eco Golf Ball is non-toxic, water soluble and 100% biodegradable. The Water-Soluble polymer used to make up the Eco Golf Ball is verified by microorganism testing to be non-toxic and does not restrain from the growth of microorganism and can be degraded totally. The Eco GolfBall has no bad effects on the environment. Once the ball is desolved in water, specific microorganism will cause it turn into carbon dioxide and water.
The New Eco Golf Ball however is safe to hit into the sea because it desolves quickly and leaves no toxins in the water. It is even safe for a fish to eat. So go ahead and watch your tee shot splash down into the sea.
I like this..great idea..
